Hillary Clinton VS. Sarah Palin?
Rasmussen Reports conducted a poll shortly after John McCain selected Sarah Palin as his running mate for the 2008 Presidential election last week. What I want to know is why are they running this poll and who really cares what the outcome would be? As a country, don't we have more important things to consider than a fictitious match up between a 60 year old Clinton and Palin who is 16 years younger? Palin clearly isn't ready to run for President and Hillary more than likely will not have a chance to run again considering the strength of the Obama movement even if he doesn't get elected in this election. You can see a copy of the article below.
Rasmussen Reports Wednesday, September 03, 2008
Voters by a substantial majority think a woman is likely to be elected president of the United States in the next 10 years, and nearly half (48%) think Hillary Clinton is at least somewhat likely to be the one.
But not if men have their way. In a head-to-head match-up, they prefer Sarah Palin over Clinton 49% to 45% according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Women prefer the former first lady over Palin 57% to 35%.
