UW Get's The QB It Needs and Lots of Press to Go With It!!!

The perfect media dream for the UW football team just happened. Nick Montana, son of legendary NFL QB Joe Montana committed to the UW football team this past Monday night. The will draw national press and makes a bold statement by the UW coaching staff to get another top flight kid out of California.

The LA Times is reporting it.

Football: Montana commits to Washington

Oaks Christian quarterback Nick Montana, son of Hall of Famer Joe Montana, has committed to Washington, according to Lions Coach Bill Redell.

Montana is considered one of the top quarterbacks in the Class of 2010 and will have the benefit of working with his father, who has joined the Oaks Christian staff for next season as quarterbacks coach.
